DID YOU KNOW? DID YOU KNOW?

Over the last few weeks, our community outdid itself for our annual Yom Yocheved Clothing Giveaway! In all, we helped 200 children and 150 adult clients of Ometz, Anges d'Esther, JEM workshop, and Chai Lifeline who are going through a vulnerable time in their lives. These individuals and families received new winter wear at no cost to them. For many, this opportunity not only offers the assurance of warmth and comfort during our cold winter months, but also a sense of pride that comes from wearing something new.

Over 100 volunteers helped set up the room, packed brand-new winter wear that was purchased and donated by generous companies according to the needs of these families, and hand-delivered the items. A huge thank you to all our volunteers, and to Sam and Louise Segal and Chaya and Lorne Lieberman, who co-chaired this event. Kol Hakavod!
