Journey of Hope 2024
We are happy to announce that we will be offering the Journey of Hope trip once again in 2024 (and in 2025)! This trip is open to Montreal students currently in Cegep and University.
The Journey of Hope (JOH) is a 10-day educational program, which brings students to Poland and Israel at the end of May. This experiential trip teaches about Jewish European life before the war, the Holocaust, the creation of the State of Israel, and promotes Jewish identity development. This trip is open to Montrealer’s who are currently in Cegep or University (in Montreal or out of town) and between 18-23 years of age.
- In lead-up to the trip, there are four mandatory pre-trip preparatory sessions for all participants.
- Attending JOH does not disqualify the participant from attending a Birthright trip.
- Each participant is responsible to reach a fundraising goal of $360 (minimum). These funds go directly towards our financial support to students and Survivors who attend the trip.
Tentative Trip Dates: May 26 - June 6, 2024
Rate: $8,500 CAD
