Journey of Hope 2025

Federation CJA is relaunching the Journey of Hope; an immersive educational program bringing students aged 18-22 to Poland and Israel at the beginning of June. The first part of this transformative trip explores what Jewish life was like in Europe before the war and the Holocaust. The trip then travels to Israel, where we will learn about the creation of the State and its modern-day realities. This trip promises to inspire pride, resilience and equip you with essential advocacy strategies to bring back to your campus.

  • All participants are required to attend four mandatory pre-trip preparatory sessions
  • Participating on JOH does not affect your Birthright eligibility
  • Participants are each responsible to fundraise $360. These funds go directly towards ensuring all students and survivors can attend the trip.

Trip Dates: June 4 - June 16, 2025
*Dates subject to change
Who can register: This trip is open to Montrealers who are currently in CEGEP or University (in Montreal or out of town) and between 18-22 years of age
