Volunteerism is a vital component of Jewish communal life. Deeply rooted in the Jewish tradition Gemilut Hasadim (acts of loving kindness), volunteering benefits the people receiving assistance as well as the volunteers whose actions are nourishing and enriching their own community!

Tikun Olam (repairing the world) is a Jewish concept defined by acts of kindness intended to mend our broken world. Federation CJA’S TOV division stands for Tikun Olam Volunteers. This division is comprised of inspiring community members who want to connect, engage, and give back to others by committing their time to impactful volunteering initiatives.
