Federation CJA
  • The Advocacy Manager is responsible for the coordination and execution of assigned programs and efforts pertaining to Jewish life for the 17-24 demographic. They must attract and encourage involvement in diverse community initiatives aiming to create meaningful connections and engagement to Judaism, Israel, FCJA and the Montreal Jewish Community. They will coordinate and implement advocacy strategy, manage proactive and reactive efforts for all advocacy related issues on campus and develop necessary relationships to achieve identified goals. They will help manage other advocacy professional(s) on the campus team. (more)

  • Reporting to the Director of IT, the Network Administrator is responsible for the management, availability, operation, maintenance, and security of the Montreal Jewish Community Campus (MJCC)’s voice and data network operations. The Department of Information Technology of Federation CJA (FCJA-IT) manages and administers the voice and data networks and computing services for Federation CJA and its network of partner organizations. This includes IT infrastructure, services and security and end-user support to approximately 500 users. (more)

  • Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors (CJCS)
  • The Cummings Centre is presently hiring Art Educators/Art Therapists to provide art sessions for our Cummings to You (C2U) program in the community. This may include many facets of art, such as Acrylic Painting, Drawing, Watercolour, Photography, Ceramics, and / or Mixed Media. These sessions will be presented to a population of seniors living in autonomous, assisted living and long-term care residences. Our seniors are passionate about socializing while completing expressive art projects. This supports their interest in exploring their creativity, potentially learning new techniques, and building their skills. If you are a dynamic educator who loves working and bringing the joy of art to older adults, we want to meet you!responsibility of our Foundation’s Marketing and Communications campaigns and ongoing profile. The Marketing and Communications coordinator will assess the needs of the Foundation’s overall communications and create strategies to raise awareness, visibility and support our fundraising efforts to help us advance our mission. The CJCS Foundation is responsible for raising funds to help support the services and programs provided by the Cumming Centre for our senior population. (more)
  • The case manager’s role is to provide and coordinate psychosocial and concrete services to seniors and/or vulnerable older adults of the Jewish community with the goal of enhancing their functioning, autonomy and social integration.  (more)
  • The Educator’s role is to work with participants of the Therapeutic Dementia Care Program (commonly referred to as the “Drop In”) and their caregivers. The Educator will facilitate therapeutic recreational programming based on the needs of older adults living with Dementia and provide support to caregivers in the program. (more)

  • The "Food Services for Community" initiative “ Café Soleil” is a collaboration between the JEM Workshop, Zera Café, Ometz and the Cummings Centre, which provides an inclusive community space providing socialization opportunities to diverse populations, through food services, resulting in the improved quality of life of participants. (more)
