Job Summary

The Constituent Data and Information Specialist works with the Donor Management Systems team and the Donor Services team as the FRD department subject matter expert with the Blackbaud CRM database, providing critical processes and data support to the entire FRD team. If you love data, this job is for you! A dedicated and focused professional, with a keen understanding of relational database concepts and query language, the Constituent Data and Information Specialist works with the organization’s CRM application and Development teams to perform complex data searches and exports to produce detailed and accurate reports derived from the donor database for use in mailings, data analysis, prospect analysis and appeal/campaign analysis.

Duties

• Implementation and maintenance of all FRD related DMS processes including but not limited to gift and payment acknowledgements, statements, and income tax receipts.
• Monitor and report progress as related to these processes based on predetermined KPIs.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of Prospect Management processes.
• Design and provide reports to FRD management and teams as required.
• Master and utilize 3rd party integrations and ensure proper data import / entry into Blackbaud CRM.

Education, Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience utilizing CRM databases, preferably in a fundraising/development office capacity.
• Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge or other Blackbaud fundraising platforms strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and/or relational databases
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Facility with numbers and basic accounting skills.
• High standards of excellence, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and follow through.
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage complex tasks, work independently and under pressure.
• Bilingual (English and French), Additional Languages are an asset.
• A passion for implementing technology in increase efficiency.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, programs, and applications.
• Familiarity with the Jewish community is a plus.
