Job Summary

The data Analyst conduct various research, assessment and analysis for the Montreal Jewish community and produces reports that will support implementation of prevention strategies to combat antisemitism and legal efforts to combat hate.

Type of Position: Full Time Regular

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments and risk analysis
• Support efforts to combat hate by implementing different strategies
• Carry-out, uphold and execute organizational security policies and procedures
• Monitor and investigate any activity; provide detailed reports when incidents arise.
• Report on the results and impacts of research conducted for a range of stakeholders
• Develop and promote best practices in security, by conducting regular training and learning opportunities to key stakeholders
• Collaborate with key professionals to develop and implement effective security strategies.
• Keep senior management abreast of any key developments in the field of cybersecurity threats and trends.

Education, Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Good working knowledge of information systems management, business computer programming, data analysis, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role, in a related field.
• Knowledge of security tactics, high level procedures, equipment and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to evolve in a computerized environment.
• Ability to work swiftly and effectively in a fast moving and multi-task environment
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills coupled to an acute attention to details
• Qualified in tactical planning and training
• Extensive organization, time management, problem solving, technical troubleshooting, and planning skills.
