Description:

The Cummings Centre presents "Namibia & South Africa: Red Sands and Penguins" hosted by Charlotte Temple, who is a lifelong traveler and amateur photographer and loves to share her enthusiasm and acquired knowledge of faraway lands with others. This pictorial travelogue takes us into the heart of native Africa, to meet the Himba and Herero tribes, be stirred by the sighing red sands of the Namib Desert and see the adorable (and endangered) penguins on the Cape of Good Hope. Told with deep affection for her personal journey, she will also speak about the dark years of the Apartheid of South Africa. This event will be held on December 8th, 2021, from 2-3 pm. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for guests. To register, visit cummingscentre.org/registration or call 514.343.3510.
