Description:

The Cummings Centre presents "Jews of Budapest: Stories of Perseverance", hosted by Dora Koranyi, who created Qesher (“connection” in Hebrew), a project aimed at introducing the past and present of Jewish communities from around the world to online audiences. This historical lecture invites virtual travellers to appreciate the stories of the Jews of Budapest, the capital of Hungary: a community that still flourishes, despite many difficulties it has had to endure throughout its long history. This event will be held on November 24th, 2021, from 1-2 pm. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for guests. To register, visit cummingscentre.org/registration or call 514.343.3510.
