Federation CJA
  • The Engagement Associate – Hillel Cegeps is responsible for inclusive community building with Cegep students in order to attract and encourage involvement in diverse community initiatives aiming to create meaningful connections and engagement to Judaism, Israel, FCJA and the Montreal Jewish Community. The Engagement Associate will act as a liaison, resource person, educator, program builder, and community connector. This person should be a self-starter, have an entrepreneurial spirit, be able to engage students and have a proactive mindset.

  • The Coordinator provides routine support to users of the Moodle platform. More specifically, the incumbent guides classroom teachers, resource teachers and administrators as they engage with the platform and ensures databases are kept up to date. With patience and regular communication, you believe in empowering educators to become self-sufficient in the use on online courses, providing them with the tools needed to engage with online learning. This is a part-time position based on two (2) days per week.

Drawing upon your expertise in engagement and leadership, you'll serve as a driving force behind our various initiatives, weaving them into a cohesive tapestry of community involvement. You will also be responsible for identifying funding opportunities that are aligned with Federation CJA’s strategies for the under 40-year-old cohort.

  • Caldwell Residences is a non-profit organization that owns four government-subsidized apartment buildings for low-income seniors in the Côte-des-Neiges area and Côte Saint-Luc. There are 650 units. (more)
  • Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors (CJCS)
  • The case manager’s role is to provide and coordinate psychosocial and concrete services to seniors and/or vulnerable older adults of the Jewish community with the goal of enhancing their functioning, autonomy and social integration.  (more)
  • The homecare associate works as part of a homecare team to coordinate tailored homecare plans and services for vulnerable seniors living in the community. (more)
  • JEM Workshop Inc.
  • As a key member of the leadership team, you will manage JEM’s finance function, from fundraising and forecasting to day-to-day financial operations, contributing to the continued financial health of the company, allowing it to fulfill its mission of promoting disability employment and diversity in the workforce.

  • As a member of JEM’s Senior Management Team, the HRM coordinates all Human Resource activities related to the company. The incumbent provides guidance and resources to the professional team with respect to recruitment, onboarding and orientation, performance management and professional development. The HRM ensures that the company conforms to legal, ethical and quality practices in the delivery of human resource support to all the employees who make up its diverse workforce. The HRM will lead the development of a new HR department, including the supervision of a team of professionals dedicated to supporting JEM’s employees living with handicaps.
