Montreal – November 23, 2022 - Federation CJA President & CEO Yair Szlak is condemning today’s terror attack on a Jerusalem bus that killed a Canadian student and injured many others.

“The Montreal Jewish community is horrified at this cowardly act of terror that has killed a Canadian teenager and injured many others, all innocent victims of senseless hatred,” Szlak said. “The Montreal Jewish community sends our condolences and prayers to the family of Aryeh Schupak and prays for those injured. They should have a full and speedy recovery,” added Szlak.
