The designation "Sephardic" is controversial and its definition does not yet have consensus. It is however under this designation that Jewish immigrants from Morocco to Quebec chose to constitute itself as a French-speaking Jewish community. This book presents a survey on the populations of this community, to the times from the studies devoted to them and from the perception that they themselves have from their integration into Quebec society. The researchers Olivier Bérubé-Sasseville, Antoine Burgard, Christine Chevalier-Caron, Steven Lapidus and Philippe Néméh-Nombré have collaborated on this work. |
