Step 1: Register for a trip of your choice with one of our trip provider partners. For information on the summer programs offered, contact your chosen local trip provider directly.

Step 2: Submit your GOTEENISRAEL Application. Once your online application for GOTEENISRAEL is received, and your registration with one of our trip provider partners is confirmed, a $1,800 USD voucher will be sent to your selected trip provider who will deduct the amount from your trip. If you cancel your registration, the funds will be returned to us and your trip provider.

Jewish Montreal high school students residing in the province of Quebec who are currently in grades 9, 10 or 11 are eligible to apply for a GOTEENISRAEL voucher.

Yes. Many participants have been to Israel with their families or on another program. 

There is a one-time eligibility for GOTEENISRAEL vouchers.

You are required to pay a minimum of $500 in the currency your trip provider is charging. This means that even if you receive the GOTEENISRAEL voucher, you are still required to pay a minimum of $500 for your trip.

Yes. A Federation CJA GOTEENISRAEL voucher is not a scholarship, nor is a financial assessment required. Financial support is available through Federation CJA’s GOTEENISRAEL Access, offering grants of up to $1,800 USD to help Jewish teens who require additional financial support. Grant availability is limited, based on financial criteria, and on a first-come, first-served basis. This does not preclude you from receiving scholarship aid from your trip provider and/or another source.

Federation CJA’s GOTEENISRAEL/DALFEN FELLOWS vouchers and Federation CJA’s GOTEENISRAEL Access Grants cover program costs on the recipient’s behalf. If a participant cancels beyond the trip’s refund deadline, those funds are the recipient’s financial obligation.

If the trip is cancelled, the funds will not be disbursed, and the teen must reapply for the GOTEENISRAEL voucher for summer 2025.

Once your registration with one of our Israel trip provider partners has been confirmed , you have been selected as a DALFEN FELLOWS recipient, and you have completed the mandatory fellowship sessions, the funds will be paid directly to the Israel summer program listed on your application and then deducted from the total cost of your trip. If you cancel your registration, the funds will be returned to us and your trip provider.

* The Diller Teen Fellows recipients are not eligible for DALFEN FELLOWS or Federation CJA’s GOTEENISRAEL Access Grant.

The DALFEN FELLOWS is comprised of six mandatory learning sessions focusing on Jewish heritage, Israel advocacy and community engagement. It will allow for DALFEN FELLOWS recipients to participate in an Israel summer program of their choice.

This fellowship will be offered for up to 50 teens who show exemplary leadership qualities.

Applicants must submit a list of current/past volunteer experiences, two letters of recommendation, and upload a video statement of intention.

*The DALFEN FELLOWS voucher must be used with one of our participating trip provider partners in summer 2025. Additionally, the recipient must have attended all leadership learning sessions in 2024.
