Job Summary

As part of the Employment Department, the Program Coordinator creates and adapts the curriculum for participants living with a mental health diagnosis and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder and matches participants with stages. Throughout this innovative e-learning computer skills and French training program, the Coordinator provides support to participants and supports employers during the stage phase of the program.


• Develop curriculum by identifying training modules for e-learning and other materials to build the program
• Collaborate with marketing department to promote the program
• Recruit, interview and select participants
• Assist EMSB teacher to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of the program
• Provide ongoing follow-up and feedback to participants throughout the program in group and/or individually
• Develop relationships with and collaborate with partner employers to match participants with stages
• Accompany participants to stage interviews and provide support during stages
• Provide guidance to employers during stages
• Track qualitative and quantitative data such as enrollment, attendance, participant progress and evaluations
• Provide reports on outcomes
• Develop feedback surveys for participants and employers

Education, Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum DEP degree in education, recreation or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of program coordination experience
• Experience working with individuals living with a mental health diagnosis and/or with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Knowledge of current employment trends and job market demands an asset
• Bilingual in both official languages (spoken)
• Excellent English skills (written)
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
