Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, CIJA-Quebec, the Manager - Quebec Campus will develop and
execute programs and campaigns on campus, and provide on-the-ground support and training to GenMTL professionals, and Jewish and pro-Israel students on campuses across the city.


• Work collaboratively with GenMTL professionals and pro-Israel students on campuses across Quebec and with CIJA’s national campus team to support proactive advocacy programs and counter the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
• Provide on-the-ground support when campus advocacy issues arise.
• React and respond quickly to campus crises.
• Identify, foster relationships with, and support campus influencers (student government, other faith community clubs, political clubs, etc.).
• Provide advocacy training for Jewish and pro-Israel student leaders, including the management of student training initiatives.

Education, Knowledge and Skills

• You have experience in grassroots/political organizing, campaigning, program development and capacity building.
• You were involved in student politics, student government, or actively engaged in campus life in some form while you were at university, giving you an understanding and appreciation for campus dynamics.
• You have some knowledge of or interest in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and Israeli lifestyle/culture.
• You can quickly build relationships, connect with students, and work with local and national staff teams.
• You don’t mind working flexible hours that might include travel, evenings, and weekends as required.
• You are bilingual and have an undergraduate degree or higher.
