This year, as part of our annual campaign, Federation CJA is excited to present the Tzedakah Box Project, a unique, interactive initiative empowering children to experience the joy of giving firsthand. 

 

Through this initiative, Federation CJA is providing tzedakah boxes to children in Jewish day schools and CPEs across Montreal, transforming spare change into a powerful lesson on Chesed, Klal Israel and Tikun Olam.

  • Empowering Educators: We provide training to teachers to ensure the highest quality education for every student.

  • Crisis Support: We provided resources and workshops for Jewish families in non-Jewish schools after October 7th.
  • Community Advocacy: We established the Montreal Academic Network Against Antisemitism (MANAA) to tackle antisemitism and promote campus safety.

  • Community Engagement: In 2023, we connected with more than 18,600 families through initiatives in collaboration with over 35 community partners, including camps, schools, and non-Jewish organizations.
