Mark Your Calendars: From Remembrance to Celebration
Montreal – May 3, 2024 – Along with Israel and the Jewish World, Federation CJA is marking the days, from remembrance to celebration, with Yom HaShoah, Yom HaZikaron, and Yom Ha'atzmaut in the coming weeks. These landmark days serve as a time for reflection, commemoration, and celebration of the Jewish People's resilience and strength.

“This year, more than ever, join Federation CJA and the Montreal Jewish community to commemorate Israel’s National Days in a series of deeply meaningful events that bridge the past and the present, the solemn and the celebratory,” says Yair Szlak, President & CEO, Federation CJA. “As we continue to navigate this challenging time, it's crucial to come together to honour the memories of those we've lost, celebrate the resilience and independence of Israel, and reaffirm our collective spirit of community and hope. Join us in commemorating Israel’s National Days through a variety of events designed as a powerful testament to our resilience, our shared history, and our hopes for the future.”
