Over the last year, Federation CJA has experienced a 62% increase in the number of French Jews looking for information and support to immigrate to Montreal. The Initiative France-Montréal, a multi-partner program, was created to facilitate the immigration, employment and integration process into the Montreal Jewish community.

"I decided to emigrate to Montreal by myself, knowing only 2 people. I enrolled in workshops offered by the Jewish community, participated in events for young adults, and took the time to speak with other French newcomers …I know first-hand how emotional the process can be, and how reassuring it is to benefit from personal support and an attentive ear."

Federation CJA 360 is a news aggregate, offering readers a variety of articles and opinion pieces on topics of concern to the Jewish community and presented in a concise, convenient platform. About Federation CJA
For over one hundred years, Federation CJA has been at the heart of the organized Jewish community in Montreal. In partnership with a vast network of agencies and organizations locally, nationally and internationally, Federation CJA builds and sustains this community by providing leadership and by supporting the delivery of services and programs to care for the vulnerable and those in need, to ensure a bright Jewish future, to represent communal interests and to positively affect issues in the wider society.

As per the recommendation of Canadian health experts, Federation CJA is advocating and practicing social distancing. Emerging research shows people can be contagious without showing symptoms, making it difficult to know who is spreading the disease. In order to \"flatten the curve\" on the pandemic and keep our community safe, we are postponing or cancelling all upcoming events until further notice. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
