Healthcare Professionals Mission in Israel
Currently, 14 dedicated healthcare professionals are on the ground in Israel, thanks to a mission initiated by the AMJQ – Jewish Doctors Association, in partnership with Federation CJA. The goal is to provide these healthcare workers with a firsthand experience of the medical challenges and responses related to the events of October 7. This trip aims to inspire more AMJQ members to participate in future missions, enabling them to bear witness and share their insights within their hospital and clinic environments upon return.

School Might be Done, But the Hate on Campus Isn’t.
Last week, Concordia University President Carr acknowledged the hateful antisemitic environment at the University. Despite this, protestors continue to promote violence and disrupt campus life.
At McGill last night, pro-Hamas actors occupied the administration building. Inaction by the administration at both universities over months of antisemitic incidents has only encouraged this behaviour.
When will our mayor and chief of police decide that enough is enough? Law and order is supposed to reign Supreme in our country.
Yesterday was the 80th anniversary of D-Day. As Canadians, we owe it to our veterans that the rule of law, order and peaceful assembly is always respected. These pro-Hamas supporters bring shame to our city, province and country.

In Israel, October 7 has Never Ended
I highly recommend Jesse Kline's insightful opinion piece that delves into the ongoing trauma and resilience of Israelis in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks by Hamas. Through interviews and personal observations, Kline highlights the stark contrast between the Western perception of the conflict and the harsh realities faced by Israelis.
It’s a longer read but well worth your time for its profound exploration of the challenges and resilience of the Israeli people.
