Federation CJA and CIJA Call on McGill to Defund SPHR Immediately.
Yair Szlak, President and CEO of Federation CJA, and Eta Yudin, Vice President of CIJA Quebec, issued the following statement last night: We are calling on McGill to defund SPHR immediately. SPHR is promoting images of terrorist propaganda with weapons as a part of a summer camp program at the McGill encampment. This cannot be in our city. This cannot be at McGill. The tolerance for hate and antisemitism in our city is enough. Mayor Plante and the SPVM must act NOW.
Authorities must act to dismantle the toxic encampment immediately or the antisemitism, hate, intimidation and harassment will continue to metastasize.

How Your Support Funds Vital Bomb Shelters in Israel

While children in Canada and beyond may never need to seek immediate refuge from rockets, Israeli children must always know the nearest bomb shelter and how to reach it quickly. Thanks to our community’s generosity, we’ve provided a sense of security to thousands of Israelis, allocating over $380,000 for ten mobile bomb shelters in Israel’s southern region.
Watch this powerful video to see how your contributions are making a crucial difference. It includes a heartfelt moment with Steven Shulman, President and CEO of Jewish Federations of Canada-UIA, as he paints a shelter with other Canadian volunteers.
