Yesterday, the Federal Court granted an interlocutory injunction against the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), ensuring the continued production of kosher meat in Canada. The Jewish community is committed to collaborating to develop a permanent solution that upholds both regulatory objectives and kosher food security. The judgment is a significant victory, and we have received numerous thanks for our support and leadership on this crucial issue.
