In Loving Memory of Major Sergeant (res.) David Pereque, Z"L
Federation CJA mourns the loss of Major Sergeant (res.) David Pereque, a cherished member of our community who made Aliyah from Montreal in 2008 to serve as a Lone Soldier in the IDF. David’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to Israel, serving not only in his 20s but also during the challenging times of the past year. His kindness, strength, ambition, humour, and intelligence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. We extend our deepest condolences to the Pereque family, standing with them in this time of grief. We join with the mourners of Zion, offering comfort to David’s loved ones and all of Am Yisrael. May his memory be a blessing, ז”ל.
