Yesterday marked 300 days: 111 of the 251 hostages seized by Hamas on October 7 remain in captivity in Gaza.
During a raid last week in Khan Younis, the IDF’s 98th Division and Shin Bet recovered the bodies of five hostages who had been killed and then taken to Gaza during the October attack. Join us on the March for Jerusalem and Help Shape Tomorrow’s Jewish Leaders
“Since October 7th, I have wanted to come back to Israel, to be surrounded by Israelis, to hear their stories and show them that they are not alone. The sense of home I felt since I landed, what I was able to witness, the friendships I’ve made, and the overall sense of pride in being Jewish are all things I will cherish for the rest of my life.” – Hannah Silverman, Summer 2024 Birthright Israel participant.
“Over these 10 days, we had the privilege of hearing stories of how the war broke out and its aftermath from people who were there and felt it personally. Birthright created a feeling of belonging and boosted my pride in being Jewish! The experiences and friendships I’m taking home are ones I couldn’t have ever imagined!”—Ilan Dexter, Summer 2024 Birthright Israel participant.
