The Flegg Learning Fellowship is an exciting educational experience from the partnership of Hillel Montreal powered by Federation CJA‘s GenMTL and McGill Jewish Studies.
The Flegg Learning Fellowship provides opportunity to study Jewish texts in an open, inclusive and engaging atmosphere. The Fellowship will span the 2019 academic winter semester with 6 sessions. Discussions will be facilitated by Montreal’s leading Jewish scholars and educators and will explore universal issues and Jewish identity. The Flegg fellowship aims to engage and educate. As learners, we become better leaders. Fellows will also have the opportunity to create their own learning opportunities with their peers. Each fellow will be given a budget to host their own event for their social network.
Fellows will receive a $250 stipend for participation in the full program. Sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Some topics will include: Judaism and Social Justice, Judaism and Sexuality, Judaism and food, etc. Open to University and 2nd year CEGEP students.
Dinner will always be served!
