In light of Israeli Apartheid week, many young Jewish people have felt helpless against some of the hate speech that has been spreading across campuses, whose goal is to demonize Israel and delegitimize the Jewish state. Since nothing was happening in the creative/musical sphere to speak out against this kind of rhetoric, we thought it was necessary to provide a forum for us to express our love and support for our community during this time, and to stand up against the anti-semitism that has been fuelled by the recent events taking place in Montreal.
