Description:

On Sunday, November 28, 2021, the Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies will be screening the film, There is no other place. Following the film screening will be a live discussion via Zoom on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:30AM EST / 6:30PM ILT with the film's Director, Anat Tel and Professor Lorenzo DiTommaso a member of the Azrieli Institute Academic Advisory Group, (Concordia University). *About the film* The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City of Jerusalem, the most sacred place in Christendom is shared by different Christian sects: Orthodox, Catholics, Armenians, Copts, Syrians and the Ethiopians–all of whom are constantly trying to maintain the ancient, fragile Status Quo. The guardians of the key to the Church are two Moslem families, both of which claim the right of being the keeper of the important key. Each of them has a creditable story, as well as original documents given to them centuries ago.
