Description:

Professor Gil Troy, American political historian and Zionist activist, will define different periods of Zionist thought - different schools of Zionist thought, some of the obstacles scholars and all others face in having a fair, clear-eyed conversation about this oft-targeted and delegitimized movement. This talk will be rooted in the history and philosophy of Zionism - but will be making relevant points about how we approach pressing political issues related to the Jewish people, Israel - and liberal nationalism, especially in the Age of Brexit and Donald Trump. Books will be for sale, and Dr. Gil Troy will be happy to sign them. Refreshments will be Served.
