This film, the best of Alexandre Arcady, inspired by the novel of the same title by writer Yasmina Khadra, is of a great intensity in which violence and tenderness are mixed. It transports your emotions beyond the frontiers of memory and nostalgia. Under the sun of his native Algeria, Alexandre Arcady makes us relive the images of a past often happy despite its dramas, as well as the wrenching heartbreak of an inevitable departure. His film is a heartfelt appeal for life, for love, for friendship and above all for coexistance.

Film in French with English subtitles
