Former Gazette theatre critic turned playwright and novelist, Marianne Ackerman will talk about her new book, Triplex Nervosa Trilogy, launched this spring by Guernica Editions. The volume contains the hit play Triplex Nervosa, which premiered at the Centaur Theatre in 2015, plus 2 sequels, an essay about theatre. She will also talk about the music of Montreal composer performer Patrick Watson, which inspired these plays, as well as how the pandemic might change theatre and public art.
