Description:

Forgotten, but not forever! Women of the past are enjoying a renaissance as their achievements in war, art, business, science, and many other fields are celebrated by twenty-first women hungry for heroines. New York Times and Globe & Mail bestselling author Kate Quinn will discuss her own passion for researching heroic women of history across a broad span of centuries. Kate's literary heroines range from the pike-wielding amazons of the French Revolution to the all-female regiment of WWII Russian bomber pilots known as the Night Witches--women you never learned about in history class, and women you will never forget. Presented by the Norman Berman Memorial Lecture Fund.
