On the Sunday between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Rabbi Arthur Waskow will lead a multireligious and multicultural gathering to explore ideas and actions for climate crisis action from a Jewish perspective. Rabbi Waskow is founder and director of The Shalom Center, a Philadelphia-based national organization that is a prophetic voice for Jewish, multireligious, and American life. He has dedicated much of his life’s work to eco-Judaism, interpreting what the Hebrew Bible teaches us about healing the world. Rabbi Waskow’s approach to activism sparks inspired conversations that emphasize environmental and societal healing through the uplifting of community, spiritual depth, joy, and song.
