The safety, health, and well-being of all community members is a priority for Federation CJA. With the help of our agencies and community partners, congregations and other organizations throughout Jewish Montreal, we are working to take care of the most vulnerable members of our community during this challenging time, and to provide safe avenues for connection.

This guide has been composed to keep our community informed and provide resources to help community-members navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to update the guide as more information is curated and we advise you to consult it regularly. We ask that all community members to stay alert and cognizant by carefully reading the important communications you may receive from Federation CJA and our partner organizations.

Vaccination for COVID-19

As you may know, the Quebec COVID-19 vaccination program begins March.  Appointments can be made now by calling 1-877-644-4545 or by visiting

If you are unable to make an appointment on your own or with the assistance of a family member or friend, or if you need transportation to the designated vaccination sites, we are here to help. Call the Community Helpline at 514-734-1411 (MondayThursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM) and we will direct you to the appropriate resources.

Over the coming weeks and months we will need volunteers in many capacities to contribute to this community effort. As needs become known, we will get in touch. Click here to get your name on our volunteer list and be part of the light at the end of tunnel.

If you, or anyone you know is struggling at this critical time, please call 514-734-1411 or email [email protected].
If you are an existing client with an assigned social worker from Ometz or Centre Cummings, we ask that you please contact them directly.
We are coordinating our efforts to support individuals and families who are experiencing increased hardship due to the spread of coronavirus.
