Last week, Montreal was abuzz as the Jewish Federations of North America's (JFNA) annual Finance Technology People Innovation (FTPI) conference took over the Centre Mont-Royal conference centre and Sofitel in downtown Montreal. This was only the second time in its over 30 year history that the conference has been held in Canada.

Not only did Montreal have the privilege of playing host to this year's FTPI, but the 4-day conference was co-chaired by Federation CJA's own Director of Technology Services, Judith Leichter.

The gathering brought together over 200 participants from many of JFNA's 148 member Federations, as well as sponsors and subject-matter experts in the fields of Technology, Data and Analytics, Finance, Human Resources and Operations.

Disruption, innovation and transformation were recurring themes throughout the conference which was kicked off on Sunday by Federation CJA's CEO, Yair Szlak. Amongst the many conference speakers, participants heard from world-class Montreal talent including digital marketing rock star, Mitch Joel, who delivered the opening keynote 'Disrupting Disruption' on Monday.
