Last weekend, 46 Russian-Speaking Jewish (RSJ) families (over 180 people) gathered for the 2nd annual RSJ Shabbaton at Camp B'nai Brith of Montreal. From Friday Night Shabbat dinner and a Saturday Night Havdalah ceremony, to a PJ Library Storytime and a Jewish identity scavenger hunt, the participants (many of them new to Canada) explored their Jewish roots and enjoyed the beautiful setting of the Laurentians.

About RSJ Philanthropy: RSJ Philanthropy seeks to celebrate Russian-speaking Jewish culture, traditions, and history while working together to create a thriving future for our community. We bring first and second-generation Russian-speaking Jews together through community engagement opportunities, philanthropic ventures, and social networking. RSJ Philanthropy furthers the mission of Federation CJA's vision of a vibrant, connected, and enduring Jewish community while embracing our shared heritage.

For more information about RSJ, please contact Oxana Pasternak at 514.928.6945.
