Our 360 this week includes a resounding call to action on antisemitism from former elected officials and civil society leaders from across the country. Plus, a compelling op-ed from Yaffa Tegegne, representative of Canada’s Ethiopian Jewish community and a member of the Canadian Delegation to the IHRA; a look at the Jewish athletes who have won medals at the Tokyo Olympics; first-time evidence of an ancient earthquake recorded by a biblical prophet; eight Jewish books worth reading this August; and the story behind pomegranate molasses—an easy-to-make Sephardic culinary staple. Shabbat Shalom!

There is nothing like sleepaway camp. The friendships, the smell, the amazing (or not so amazing!) food: we can all remember the summers that made us.

Over 1,500 kids from our community benefited from a summer experience they'll never forget, all thanks to YOUR donations! Read below from Michelle about how this impacted her daughter:

“I am so relieved that my daughter was able to go to camp this summer. After the school year we’ve all had, it’s such a welcome relief to know she’s able to be a kid without the worry of COVID. The best part? She’s connecting with other Jewish youth. I love that they do Shabbat every week! My daughter is building the foundation of her Jewish life right now, and I am so grateful.”
