Mazel Tov! Chidon Hatanach – Montreal Herzliah High School student Yanek Widman places 6th in the world

Yesterday, in Israel, Yanek Widman, a student at Montreal's Herzliah High School, finished 6th in the world in the annual World Bible Contest (Chidon Hatanach l'Olami). Only the top 16 students in the world compete in the final round!

The preparation and organization of the Annual Regional and National Bible Contests are among the many special projects that Federation CJA's Bronfman Jewish Education Centre (BJEC) continues to provide for students in our day school system for the past 25 years.
