Suspects in Jersey City shooting attack had powerful bomb in van
According to the FBI, the suspects in last month's deadly shooting attack on a kosher grocery store had done research on a nearby Jewish community centre and had enough material in their car for a bomb that could have "injured or killed people up to five football fields away".

Halifax welcomes stranded El Al passengers on Shabbat
When Flight LY26 from Newark was forced to make an emergency landing in the Nova Scotia capital last week, and couldn't depart the next day because Shabbat would have arrived before the flight could make it to Tel Aviv, the local Jewish community went above and beyond to help the stranded passengers.
