Every great Quebecer has a story. And their story is our story.
Discover our shared heritage through over 100 portraits of “les juifs d’ici”. Together, we can be proud of the impact we have made on Quebec, Canada and beyond…
As part of our Centennial year, Federation CJA is proud to partner with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts as the official Exhibition Patron of Chagall. Colour and Music, running from January 28 through June 11.
The occasion of Federation CJA’s Centennial is an opportunity for us to celebrate our Jewish community’s deep roots in Montreal and the province of Quebec. Explore 100 years of impact and community through our virtual museum. Be part of the story and upload your own photo memories to the exhibit.
A Centennial-inspired community Haggadah, ready in time for Passover 2017, will be a must at everyone’s Seder table as well as a unique legacy piece. The Centennial Haggadah is uniquely tailored to the diverse Montreal Jewish community, and will be the first of its kind: filled with traditions, beautifully presented with art from local artists and translated into 3 languages – English, French and Hebrew, plus transliterated Hebrew.
The Centennial Edition of the Montreal Mega Mission taking place May 10-19 2017 will be an experience like no other: a journey from home to the homeland to be shared with hundreds of community members. Limited spaces are available.
By allocating grants to Jewish community organizations marking the Centennial, we are exploring new partnerships and collaborations, and solidifying Federation CJA’s central leadership role in Montreal Jewish community.
