Dale Boidman has been active in the Jewish community for 35 years. She has been Vice President of Women’s Federation CJA, Co-Chair of the Entrepreneurs Division of Combined Jewish Appeal, and, in 1997, she chaired the Women’s Campaign. For the better part of a decade, from 1993 to 2001, she was Chair of the Bronfman Israel Experience Centre. She has also chaired the March of the Living in Montreal, and is currently Chair of the National March of the Living. From 2001 to 2004, she was President of the Bronfman Jewish Education Centre and served as its Executive Director from 2006 to 2008. She is an active member of Congregation Shaar Hashomayim, having served on its board and as President of its Sisterhood. She sat on the board of the Jewish General Hospital and was President of its Auxiliary. Dale credits her parents, Pearl and Al Freintuch, for her passion for, and commitment to, Montreal’s Jewish community and her strong belief in the importance of providing children with a Jewish education.
