The Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal is the community's resource for long term giving. It is built on gifts from donors who, during their lifetimes or through a will bequest, wish to play a significant role in supporting the future of the Montreal Jewish community. Funds contributed are added to the permanent capital fund. Proceeds are used to provide start-up grants and special funding for innovative programs. Through various planned giving programs, donors may direct their philanthropy to Jewish institutions, programs, fields of interest or charitable causes that are important to them.
