WHAT WE ARE

Women’s Federation of FEDERATION CJA promotes the growth and vitality of Jewish women in the Montreal community.   We ensure that the issues affecting Jewish women are included on the community agenda and serve as our basis of action.  Our input contributes to the continuity and viability of our Jewish community, national agencies, and the state of Israel.

Women’s Campaign was launched in 1931, and is the campaign component of Women’s Federation.  The funds we raise represent donations made by women in their name.

In 1964, Women’s Federation was introduced as a natural progression to Women’s Campaign. It was created to reach out to women throughout the year. Women’s Federation’s mandate is outreach and education, to bring women together and encourage their involvement and leadership in maintaining a strong Jewish community, in Montreal, in Israel and overseas.


On this web site, it is our intention to keep you informed of all the “goings on” in the Women’s Federation & Women’s Campaign.

You will find information about our upcoming events inside and outside the campaign corridor. We will provide you with on going updates of all events as they happen, as well
as pictures of you attending events (available for purchase).

Women’s Campaign is moving into high gear as Campaign launches on August 20th.
