Resume help for new immigrants
Ometz runs a weekly resume workshop. For the newcomer, resume writing is difficult due to the need to write in a second or third language. Our volunteers work one on one with candidates to facilitate the CV process. Volunteer training is provided.

English and French Conversation
Ometz runs a weekly conversation group in English as well as an English conversation group over the telephone. "Practically Speaking" matches volunteers with participants for a 20 minute weekly over the phone weekly conversation(s). Participants build confidence and comfort and vocabulary over the phone. Ometz is seeking to build a French counterpart to this program.

Business Mentorship
The PME Mentorship Program brings together aspiring entrepreneurs and a group of willing and experienced business men & women, and professionals. They include experts in areas of financing, accounting, law, real estate and marketing. Mentors are available to answer questions, discuss strategies and review business plans.
