Federations Across North America
Federation CJA is one of 154 Jewish federations and more than 300 independent Jewish communities in North America, and is a member of The Jewish Federations of North America. The Federation movement, collectively among the top 10 charities on the continent, protects and enhances the well-being of Jews worldwide.

As a member of the Jewish Federations of Canada – UIA, Federation CJA contributes both through Keren Hayesod to the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), as well as to the Joint Distribution Committee. It is also a member organization of The Jewish Federations of North America.

Through participation in JAFI’s Partnership 2000 program Federation CJA is twinned with the city of BeerSheva, capital of the Negev region in Israel and with Bnei Shimon, the rural area surrounding BeerSheva.
