The Bronfman Israel Experience Centre (BIEC) helps to connect our youth and young adults to their Jewish identity through meaningful and engaging Israel experience programs and informal Jewish education. BIEC is responsible for Taglit Birthright Israel, a free 10-day tour of Israel during which thousands of young Jewish individuals hike the mountains, swim in the sea, visit the Western Wall, and party in Tel Aviv. The March of the Living, an educational journey that delves into the tragic past of the Jewish people in Poland and rejoices in the Jewish present and future in Israel, is another popular BIEC program for high-school students and young adults. Beyond the Israel experiences, BIEC is a resource for outreach initiatives which include, but are not limited to, an extensive leadership development program, Hebrew classes, sports programs, arts and culture, and many others.
