Local Local allocations strengthen the Jewish community of Montreal, care for people in need and promote Jewish identity through our network of agencies and organizations.
Israel Allocations through United Israel Appeal Federations Canada (UIAFC) to Israel and overseas address, with our partners abroad, social issues including youth, education, social welfare, capacity building and people-to-people connections.
NationalMontreal’s share of national collective responsibility through UIAFC provides support for advocacy, small communities, immigrants and youth across the country.

Jewish Identity
To ensure a vibrant Jewish community in the future, it is essential to support Jewish education and provide programs that build Jewish identity today. Federation CJA is investing $8.6 million in response to this communal priority which includes $3 million for tuition assistance for children wishing to have a Jewish education.

Social Services
At the heart of Jewish values is the responsibility to care for those in need. To that end, Federation CJA is allocating more than $7 million to social services for 2011-2012 which includes $2 million for direct poverty relief.
