  • This work-oriented rehabilitation facility has a controlled working environment directed by industrial vocational goals. The Workshop is recognized by the Emploi-Québec as an adaptive work centre (entreprise adaptée). The Workshop is designed for challenged members of our community, 18 years of age and over, motivated to work but unemployable in the competitive industry due to intellectual, emotional or physical difficulties.

  • At the age of 17, in 1982, Sima Goel snuck across the border to Pakistan with her sister. After close to a year of living in the filthiest, most appalling conditions, the girls were able flee to Montreal, where they arrived in June 1983 with a total of $60 between them.  (more)
