Description:
Jewish traditions are soaked in water. Let us tell you why!

This H2O and Shabbat event will explain the different meanings which water plays in Judaism. For example, we will look at the difference between Mikveh water, which is used for many different purposes, Dish Mikveh water, which is used to make dishes suitable for a kosher household, and the significance of water when used to wash one's hands after attending a funeral or before eating bread (or in this case Challah for Shabbat).

The adults will be decorating hand washing vessels which will contain the blessing one recites after washing one's hands.

Children will have supervised age appropriate activities pertaining to water (and general activities as well).

All will be served pizza and drinks and prizes will be distributed to the children.
