Description:
To salute Tel-Aviv's Centennial celebrations, we will screen a documentary named Tel-Aviv-Jaffa. This 50-minute film, created by the prize-winning producers Modi Bar-On and Anat Zeltser, digs into Tel Aviv-Jaffa archeological layers to expose what is beneath the surface: the historic buildings, the Arab villages, the disappeared neighborhoods. Through roaming the city's depth and breadth in the present and past, the film tries to understand how a remote neighborhood in the sand dunes became a centre of life and the cradle of Israel's culture.

After the movie presentation and a short coffee break, Cantor Boaz Davidoff will perform a selection of songs on Tel Aviv. In collaboration with the Consulate General if Israel and the Israeli House.

Admission: $10 members/students; $15 non-members
