    Why are we donating to the Federation and CJA? The Federation is the vehicle that gets the funds and the help to the community. Very importantly, about 91% of what’s collected goes directly to help the community.  (more)

  • The staff at Ometz are there to lend support to those in need.Without Federation CJA, we wouldn’t be able to make sure that the family coming in for help has a roof over its head. Or the family that just lost a parent is able to talk about it. Or the young person who was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia has somewhere to go and has someone with whom to talk. It translates into people helping people. (more)
  • Defining ‘home’ for thousands of new Olim
    In conjunction with the Jewish Agency and Keren Hayesod – UIA, Federation CJA supports activities that promote and facilitate Aliyah. Successful absorption ensures that the new Olim remain in Israel and contribute to its continued development, strengthening society as a whole. By supporting these programs, we give new long-term tools for successful absorption. (more)
