JON ROSKIES AWARD FOR NEW LEADERSHIP

Established in memory of the late Jon Roskies, this award recognizes the potential of young people and encourages their committment to community work. It honours newly-involved young people and nurtures their development by expanding the scope of their Jewish experience.

Nature of the award: This award will help subsidize the cost of participating in the General Assembly of the United Jewish Communities. The winner is expected to submit a follow up report at a meeting of FEDERATION CJA .

Eligibility: Men and women between the ages of 20 and 35 who have become active volunteers in FEDERATION CJA, or any of its affiliated agencies within the previous three years. The emphasis will be on newly involved, highly motivated individuals who display a commitment to volunteer community work.
