RUTH & MICHAEL ROSENTHAL FAMILY STUDENT LEADERSHIP AWARD

This award was established by the Rosenthal Family to honor a CEGEP or University student active in volunteer community work. The award recognizes outstanding involvement in the Jewish community and encourages development by expanding the scope of their community experience, on a local and international level.

Nature of the award: The award, for a maximum of $1,000, will be granted to subsidize the cost of participating in the student program of the General Assembly of the United Jewish Communities. The winner is expected to submit a follow-up report at a meeting of FEDERATION CJA.

Eligibility: A full-time CEGEP or university student expecting to continue on a full-time basis for at least one more year. The emphasis will be on the special achievement and leadership potential of highly motivated individuals who exemplify commitment to community work.
